About the Owner
Lloyd Jones has been in the steel detailing business since 1987. After graduating from
LSU with a degree in Industrial Technology, he worked at Port Allen Marine where he helped in the design and construction of barges.
Lloyd is a Christian and believes in running his business with integrity and Christian principles. His desire is to provide the highest quality of living for all his employees at the office and in their personal lives. This has lead to an excellent working environment.
Lloyd has been married to his wife Francie for 28 years. They have two sons, Lloyd, Jr., and Woody.

- In 2010 Troy Gibbins, our San Antonio office manager, assumed the role of president of the 12 member SDS/2 Users Group Advisory Board.
- Three of our detailers are certified as Class 1 Senior Detailers. Many more in the office are studying to take the exam.
- We are constantly developing parametrics to automate the modeling of members not supported by SDS/2, such as handrails, stairrails, ladders and bracing. ISD has been able to increase our efficiency, productivity and accuracy through the use of these custom programs.
- We have ongoing comprehensive teaching and training on all job levels with both in-house and off-site classes and seminars. We are constantly striving to produce the best product in the most efficient manner -- Quality on Time.
